Greenlake Urban Farmhouse

Our client’s vision was an urban farmhouse aesthetic, but it carried challenges. The master bedroom/bathroom, mud room, laundry, and second bedroom all needed to coexist for a busy family. Relocating the master suite downstairs and the kids’ room upstairs did the trick and exposed the character of this beautiful home.

Chermak Construction Inc.

Practical elegance best describes the extensive remodel of this Edmonds home overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains.

CRD Design Build

With two growing kids, this Seattle family was rapidly outgrowing their home. Previous clients, they came back to CRD to design a second-story addition and a whole-house remodel.

Sockeye Homes

Have you ever imagined what can be done with your "Not-Big-Enough" dining room and "Never-Gets-Used" living room? By adding 5 new beams and additional concrete in the crawl space, we were able to relocate the load-bearing walls and create a true “Open Concept Great Room Design.”

Harjo Construction

This remodel of a 1923 Home features a new kitchen and bathroom on the main floor, along with an all-new basement buildout, including new bath and laundry rooms, in addition to a bedroom. The kitchen has been reconfigured with a modernized layout that includes an expanded entrance between the kitchen and dining areas. The main-floor bath contains a large walk-in shower made more relaxing through thoughtful placement of the rain showerhead and controls. Outside the shower, a custom-built vanity table awaits, made out of reclaimed wood from a dock. Entering the basement, you will find a media area and exercise space.

Kurt Harjo

Kurt Harjo knows that building and remodeling processes are full of challenges and can be stressful for clients. He also believes much of that stress can be minimized and possibly eliminated if more emphasis and value are placed on clear and consistent client communications. The smallest of projects has a lot of moving parts, so even with the best pre-construction planning in the universe, “stuff” happens. How that stuff gets handled is where Harjo Construction Services proves their integrity in craftsmanship and communication, with consistent, honest feedback and engagement on every client project.

Where there’s integrity, things just work better – and that goes as much for our human communication as it does for home construction.

Gaspar's Construction

This five bedroom, four bath Bellevue home had a very small outdated kitchen on the back of the house that was disconnected from the entertaining spaces. The home owners love to cook and entertain and wanted a large, open kitchen to enjoy spending time with their friends and family. In order to enlarge the kitchen, the laundry and powder rooms were relocated into an unused office at the front of the house.

CRD Design Build: Site 1

This 1954 ocean view home was almost completely gutted and given new, beautifully open spaces for the family-oriented owners to grow in. The outdated and separated kitchen was transformed into an elegant hub for the family to gather in and enjoy stunning views of Puget Sound. The new master bathroom with its lovely daylight, subway tiles, and bamboo flooring adds great value to the home, as does the opened laundry and family area on the lower level.
