This stunning and historic Victorian—featured in the 1993 blockbuster hit “Sleepless in Seattle”—needed an updated kitchen that respected the home's classic elements and atmosphere. Chermak Construction reimagined this classic home with seamless workflow space, ample storage, and modern lighting, fully realizing the client’s vision of a chef’s kitchen.

By removing the drop ceiling and installing VG Fir full-height cabinets and textured tin backsplash with an antique finish, the kitchen achieves a classic feel. Honed quartz countertops and custom crafted columns supporting the island butcher block countertop are a nod to the home’s original Victorian architecture. Chermak were pleased to deliver every design detail, blending the old and new together without sacrificing the home’s history.
