We started by raising the ceiling and installing an exposed glulam beam to give the space an open and spacious feel. White Shaker-style cabinetry with sleek modern hickory shelves makes quite a statement. The mix of granite countertops, a quartz island, and a wall of white hexagonal tile is accented with beautiful Moroccan print tiles off to the side in an alcove, leading to an eclectic, yet balanced design.
