Luxurious, Modern Kitchen & Bath

This Bellevue home renovation includes a total kitchen, master bath remodel, and powder room refresh. Additionally, the hardwood flooring, millwork, and paint was updated throughout the whole main floor and upstairs common areas.

Before the remodel, the old space was closed off and uninspiring. This project emphasizes their love for modern architecture, the purity of natural wood, and their desire to cook and entertain with friends and family.

By removing walls, closets, and built-ins we were able to open up the space and combine the kitchen and dining room for one hard working, beautiful area.

The updated kitchen features specially designed cabinetry, an induction cooktop and ramen bar, floating shelves with LED lighting, and a uniquely shaped backsplash tile that gives an artistic pop to the space.

The dark stained toe kicks contrast while tying in the dark painted French doors and black aluminum windows. The window was enlarged at the sink to better enjoy the lively creek in the back yard.

Another unique design element in this kitchen is that all of the refrigeration is located under the counter. This element includes two freezer drawers, two refrigerator drawers and two beverage/condiment refrigerators.

Our clients had originally embarked on a Do-It-Yourself project for the master and after demolition decided that it was better to retain some help. When remodeling the master bath, there were many factors that came into play. We worked to design a space that was both creative and showcases the client’s desired architectural style. The space included floating fir cabinetry, modern and minimalist plumbing fixtures in a chrome finish, and stunning custom shoji screens.

From the onset, the shoji screen panels were an artistic nod to the client’s international travels and a desire to incorporate art into the project.

A wall-to-wall shelf that stretches behind the shower and tub grounds the space. The satin etched glass window over the bathtub was enlarged to create a sense of symmetry and provide natural light.
