For the past 25 years, April Bettinger has carved out for herself a respected niche in the construction industry. Her father was a custom homebuilder in this area during the 70s and 80s, so she grew up watching and learning about excellent customer service and what it takes to build a high-quality project.
Throughout her career in construction, April has held key roles in finance, budgeting, customer service, team building, and sales management, preparing her to own and operate her own company.
She founded Nip Tuck Remodeling in 2010 on the heels of the recession with a vision and determination to create a construction company with extraordinary craftsmanship and a focus on professionalism. She is driven to make a difference in the construction industry and leads her company with vision and purpose.

Founded in 1980 by Howard Chermak and later acquired by Noah France in 2017, Chermak Construction Inc. provides full-service remodeling for the greater Seattle area. Offering in-house design, remodeling & home repair services for over 43 years, they are committed to making a difference. Since the age of 19, Kurt has dreamt of starting a business to build beautiful things. Growing up in construction, Kurt had a lot of preparation before founding Harjo Construction, including building tree houses, growing up with a home workshop, working in commercial construction during college, and later working in the field and project management.
If he had to choose the single most important thing to do in a day, Kurt believes it’s understanding priorities. He enjoys solving problems with clients, putting together strategies, and helping them visualize a new reality for their home. Inspired by Coach John Wooden, Kurt motivates others by helping people see new or bigger realities for themselves—discovering a capacity within them they weren’t aware was there. Evident in his management style, Kurt encourages his employees to grow by offering them new challenges.
If he wasn’t improving homes, Kurt could see himself sailing around the world or designing and building furniture. In his spare time, he likes competitive mountain biking, playing volleyball, cooking and conversing with his wife Meghan, young son Koen, and infant daughter Anna.
