Practical elegance best describes the extensive remodel of this Edmonds home overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains.
A kitchen is the heart of the home and this kitchen beats strong. The mix of finishes in this remodeled kitchen showcase the personality of the homeowners in this Edmonds home.
This 1917 Woodland Park Classic received the royal treatment, enlarging the kitchen, adding a new back deck, and transforming the master bathroom and bedroom.
In this kitchen remodel, our focus is in opening up and updating the current space. We’ll begin by removing the existing chimney, which sits in the middle of the home. This will significantly contribute to the spaciousness the homeowners hope to feel in their new kitchen. A combination of stained and painted cabinets with a marble backsplash will enhance the dynamic, yet inviting design in the room. The installation of Astoria Granite with a waterfall edge modernizes the room’s look and floating shelves with puck lights add warmth in eye-catching fashion. Finally, the portable island allows for larger groups to gather, as it can be transported with ease.
After the remodel, this kitchen becomes rich in spaciousness, design, and convenience for the homeowners and their guests.

This well-located 70s rambler had a huge stone fireplace that dominated the space, dividing the kitchen, living, and family rooms. By removing the fireplace and vaulting the ceiling, an open, inviting, and spacious great room was born. The enlarged kitchen features new skylights, beautiful granite countertops, and cherry cabinets, along with a raised eating bar. A relocated gas fireplace and entertainment center now compliments the main seating area. Swedish-finished hardwood floors throughout complete the transformation.
Completely redone, this home could be mistaken for brand new. The updated kitchen is now an architectural dream wrapped in beautiful custom cabinetry and Alaska White granite. Top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances allow for easy hosting, while the large statement island makes this the family center of the home. The powder room is contemporary and has a wonderfully simple color pallet. The sweeping hardwood stairs welcome you in and create one unified, gorgeous aesthetic.
The new custom kitchen in this waterfront home sparkles against high-bank Puget Sound views and makes an ideal setting for guests.
The previous floor plan, with both an island and peninsula, impeded traffic flow and was not efficient for storage and cooking. Now, a wine rack, full-service prep sink, and specialized baking center offer top-of-the-line amenities for an experienced cook. Custom cabinetry, slab granite, and a spacious island balance functionality with stunning design.
This elegant Mercer Island rambler features fine detailing at each turn. The original 1980s rambler was completely renovated, inside and out. All the interior walls were altered and taken down to the studs. All exterior surfaces, with the exception of the roof, were also removed and reconstructed. This project came in on budget and within the projected move-in date.
Classic and modern blend beautifully in this updated 1941 kitchen. Originally the ample space was underutilized. By redesigning the kitchen layout and adding a well-placed island for gathering and extra seating, the flow and efficiency make this kitchen the star of the home! Vintage touches include a farm sink, cup pulls, white Shaker custom cabinetry and subway tiles which sparkle next to modern updates of granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
A sophisticated master bathroom and organized home office were created with a dormer addition to this 1931 brick home. The home was opened up using the existing closet and attic space to create the new rooms.
The addition features custom cabinetry, granite countertops, creative tile designs and fir floors. The exterior Hardiplank shingles are painted in natural hues to compliment the brick color tones. Completely integrated, the new dormer looks as though it has always been there.
